This sleeve is the poorest quality "leather" without fitting properly. Save your money. Pieces stick out and don't allow a sung fit. It costs too much to ship back so don't get caught.
This is especially true for the D-PAD and the top buttons (Power and zoom buttons). This is a mediocre leather case for the N800. The N800 stand is essential for my day to day use of the N800, both for standing on surfaces and also for a better grip when I hold it in my hand. It has a few issues both with built quality and also with the design, limiting access to some of N800's functions.Built quality:The leather is pretty good, the stitches look okay, but the tailoring is quite bad. The case does not fit N800 well, on some part (left side of screen) the case bends outward and away from the device leaving a 1/4" gap.Functionality:Although you can still access all the buttons, due to bad fit of the case and its thickness it makes pressing the buttons SO MUCH HARDER. This case makes accessing the stand harder because you have to unlatch the magnet-held flap on the bottom of the case, and while you do this the case loses its grip. My N800 has slip a few times while I do this, it's very inconvenient and risky.
I wish there were more holes on the front of the sleeve for the speakers. Before ordering, I did have concerns that the device would not easily fit and fall out of the case. My n800 is not slippery anymore.2. No screen cover to protect the screen. Covers up the speakers too much. All ports and butons are accessible and I can easily open the bottom magnetic flap to adjust the stand on the Nokia. After receiving the leather sleeve, I can say these concerns are no more.
Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons:Pros1. Provides a nice leather sleeve. I just received my Nokia N800 leather sleeve and I must admit I'm very satisfied with the case/sleeve.The leather sleeve fits nicely on the Nokia N800. All ports and stand are accessible. No need to take the nokia out of the sleeve to charge.Cons1. 2. A thin strap on the right-side could deter this.Overall, I give the leather sleeve 4 stars for having a nice fit and leaving all the ports and stand accessible without taking the Nokia out of the sleeve. I'm concerned overtime the leather will become too flexible or stretched to where the nokia could easily slide.
And, whether or not the stand could be used while in the sleeve. 3. n800 fits nicely in the sleeve. A very snug nice fit.3. No right-side clasp for closure. If a protector cover screen and right-side strap was provided, I would have given it 5 stars.Enjoy.
